Safe use starts every time the cover is closed.

A safety-focused cover only adds protection when it is correctly positioned, tensioned and secured at its fixing points. Keep children away while the cover is being opened or closed.

• Secure every required fixing point.
• Do not leave a partly secured cover unattended.
• Do not assume a cover is safe to stand, sit or play on.
• Keep access gates and other pool barriers working.
• Never replace active adult supervision with a cover.

Manage rain water and debris early.

Gauteng storms can place extra weight on a cover. Follow the drainage and clearing guidance for the installed system, and do not let avoidable debris or standing water build up.

Small checks prevent bigger problems.

Check the cover surface, straps, hooks, plates, poles and fixing points regularly. Maintain the pool water at the operating level specified at handover. If hardware becomes loose, fabric is damaged or the cover no longer sits as expected, stop relying on it as a barrier and contact us.

Clear warranty terms, in writing.

Our current warranty addendum provides a 2-year manufacturer-backed warranty on qualifying PVC material defects, 6 months on ratchet straps and bronze ratchets, and 12 months on stainless steel ratchets and stainless button-head bolts. Aluminium support-pole bending is specifically excluded from warranty. Normal wear, misuse, incorrect water level, cuts, abrasion, animal or chemical damage, structural movement and failure to follow care instructions are among the exclusions.

Your written quotation and warranty addendum remain the governing documents for the specific installation.

Safety & SANS 10134.

Our solid PVC safety cover is designed as an additional child-safety barrier. SANS 10134, The safety of private swimming pools, addresses pool safety barriers and safety-cover requirements, including secure attachment and prevention of child access to the water. The cover must be completely secured, correctly tensioned and used with the pool water at the prescribed operating level before relying on its safety function.
